BLACK FRIDAY! HELP!

There is a very interesting story behind Black Friday...and it doesn't have to do with shopping.

We all know Black Friday as the day when all prices drop and shops plan big discounts to attract customers.
But did you know that the name "Black Friday" was originally used by the Philadelphia police to describe really heavy and dangerous traffic jams?

In the 1950s, people began calling in sick the day after Thanksgiving to give themselves a four-day weekend. Since stores were open, those playing hooky got a head start on their holiday shopping. Stores soon picked up on this trend and started creating explosive discounts for everybody...and competing amongst them! What a crazy day.

Are you planning on buying anything this Black Friday?
